SØLACE

Updated: Oct 20

A post-event reflection on transformation, integration, and carrying the medicine home.

While October’s SØLACE sessions sold out across Manhattan and Brooklyn, the echo is still audible: a quieter pulse, a softer jaw, a body that remembers it can exhale.

Brad Whitfield's SØLACE debut in the US created what many described as "a coming home to yourself." Through his 90-minute arc: Heart-opening cacao ceremony, warming breath-work, then stillness; rising sounds of instruments, then silence. Brad gave New Yorkers a live demonstration that relaxation is not a treat, it’s a skill. One conscious breath, one sacred pause, one moment of choosing softness over strength. What happened in those rooms was real. The tears, the releases, the stillness—reminders that your body already owns the map back to calm; you just have to follow the breath.

Re-Integration Wisdom from Brad

As we integrate these profound experiences, the question becomes: How do we carry this somatic wisdom into our daily lives? How do we prevent the beautiful opening from closing back up under the weight of emails, deadlines, and city chaos? Brad shares these gentle yet powerful reintegration practices:

Ground & Rinse

  • To preserve a sense of calm, dedicate at least 30 screen-free minutes to your day. Seek out nature and feel the grass or sand beneath your feet, allowing the earth to complete your peaceful state. Take a walk in a nearby park, surrounded by trees. If natural elements aren't accessible, take a shower and visualize the water washing away any signs of stress, letting them run down the drain and enveloping your nervous system in calm.

Clear & Release

  • To quiet repetitive thoughts, try a cacao ritual to calm your mind and lower cortisol. Hold the warm cup, close your eyes, and deeply inhale its aroma for a slow count of four. Then, take slow, intentional sips. Once you feel calmer, clearly articulate the looping thought from beginning to end. You can do this by journaling, voice-noting, or speaking to someone (like Brad and his dog!). This process helps to diminish the thought's emotional impact. Conclude by exhaling fully, symbolically releasing the thought to effectively break its repetitive cycle. The cacao ritual enhances the power of this release.

Five x Three

  • Heart-rate variability is a trainable muscle. Queue the track ‘Two Bells’ by Coherence from his SØLACE session. First bell: inhale for five. Second bell: exhale for five. No pauses, no strain—think of it as tracing an oval with your breath. 5 minutes, 3 times a day: morning before emails, lunch before caffeine, night before bed. Stay connected to the breath and the sound… It keeps the vagus nerve toned and calm on standby.

From our supermoon Central Park pop-up – a gift for the city – to curated indoor experiences, we’ve witnessed breath meet sound and stillness become home.

Through breath, sound, and cacao, we invited our community to pause, soften, and come home to themselves.

🙏 Thank you to @bradwhitfield for sharing his heart and guiding us with such care.
And to everyone who showed up, opened up, and chose this work — here’s to more moments like this, for body, breath, and self ✨

Australian poet, certified exercise sports scientist, breath-work facilitator, sound healer and yoga instructor Brad Whitfield has led classes, teacher trainings, and retreats across the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Bali, Sri Lanka, and luxurious venues like the Langham Hotel. Growing up in a culture where men’s emotional expression was often mistaken for weakness, Brad’s work celebrates the quiet strength found in softness, surrender, and self-discovery.

Now, in his U.S. debut with Libitm, Brad presents SØLACE - an immersive, multi-sensory experience that combines sound and breath to regulate the nervous system, release tension, and reconnect you to your body’s natural rhythm.

You’ll move through a carefully designed arc:

  • Breathwork that builds gentle heat, then softens into stillness - stimulating vagal tone and heart rate variability, enhancing body awareness and emotional clarity, and teaching the body to recover on purpose.

  • Soundscapes layered with Tibetan and crystal bowls, ocean drum, rainstick, chimes, and grounding percussion - recalibrating brainwaves, releasing deep muscular and fascial tension, and supporting parasympathetic repair.

More than a sound bath or meditation class, SØLACE is a somatic journey - one that leaves you not just relaxed, but truly reconnected.

Who This Is For:

  • Anyone feeling stuck in stress, disconnection, or anxiety

  • People interested in breathwork without the “woo”

  • Wellness seekers, creatives, or professionals needing a downshift

  • All levels welcome: no previous experience needed

What to Know:

The guided breath and sound experience will run for 1.5 hours, followed by time to connect and unwind. This deeply restorative program is elevated by our exclusive collaboration with Enchanted Rituals, Ibiza’s artisanal ceremonial cacao makers. We’ve flown in their finest ceremonial cacao, crafted with sacred care and infused with High Temple Alchemy, specifically for this program.
